O desenho -Design

Muito bom a meu ver, apesar de muitos criticarem o tamanho do bicho. A ver como irá sair o novo AT-RT deste ano para se poder comparar melhor.

Pretty good for me, even though there are many critics to its scale. Let's see how the new AT-RT will be.

Jogabilidade - Playability

Só por si não tem muito que fazer.. as pernas são posicionavéis, a arma frontal move-se horizontalmente e o minifig trás a sua arma. Mas se lhe juntarmos uns droids para destruir, a coisa anima.

The set alone doesn't have much to do... the legs are ajustable, the front weapon can move and the minifig has it's blaster. But if you add a couple of droids, the things get better.

Outros - minifigs

O minifig é exclusivo deste set, com umas marcas específicas no torso e no capacete. Apesar de uma certa incoerência com o canon dos filmes, onde aparecem clones com um capacete semelhante aos scout troopers, há que admitir que o gajo tem estilo!

The minifig is exclusive to this set, with specific markings on the chest and helmet. Even though it doesn't coincide with the movie canon, were the clones wear an helmet similar to scout troopers, we gotta admit, this guy has style!

Conclusão - Conclusion

Andei durante meses à procura deste set... até que me deparei com ele no BL a um preço super simpático e arrecadei logo 3! Essencial em qualquer Grand Army of the Republic. Apesar das pontuações menos boas em termos do set em si, vou-lhe dar um 9 pois acho-o simplesmente adorável!

I've been looking for this set for months... until I found some on BL with a really nice price, so I bought 3 of them! Essencial for any Grand Army of the Republic. Even with it's flaws, I give it a 9/10 since I find this set really lovely.

Lagartas com fartura, duas peças impressas exclusivas e umas slopes bley; nada do outro mundo.

Lots of tracks; two exclusive printed pieces and some bley slopes, nothing big.

A construção - the build

Fácil e rápida. O mais chato é estar a ligar todos os elos das lagartas.

Easy and quick. The most boring part is connecting all the tracks...

O desenho - design

Excelente, sobretudo se comparado com a versão anterior, em que nem o esquema de cores era acertado! As peças impressas ficam muito bem e a escala parece-me bem, apesar de poder ser um pouco maior.

Excelent, specially if compared to the 2005 version, which didn't even had the right colour scheme. The printed pieces look pretty nice and the scale looks good, even though it could be a bit bigger.

Jogabilidade - Playability

Um tanque, dois droids, dois clones e... uma pseudo catapulta para mandar os jet troopers a "voar"! Parece bom, mas a pseudo-catapulta era escusada... os minifigs vão ao ar, mas além de não irem muito elevados, também não percorrem grande distância, e como se torcem todos durante o vôo, aterram de cabeça. Mas como no mesmo set temos duas facções, considero-o um set bastante "brincalhão"

One tank, two droids, two clones and a small catapult to send the jet troopers flying away! Sounds nice, but the catapult isn't that nice... the minifigs don't go neither far nor high and they always land on their heads. Anyway, we got two factions on this set, which is pretty good for playing.

Outros - minifigs

Battle droids do costume, mas os novos clones exclusivos acrescentam um grande valor ao set! O jet pack dá-lhes estilo e aumentam a jogabilidade do set, mesmo sem aquela coisa esquisita que a LEGO considera como um meio de lançar os minifigs no ar...

The usual battle droids, but the new exclusive clones give this set a better value. The jetpack gives them style and augments the sets' playability, even without that weird launcher.

Conclusão - Conclusion

Mais um excelente set desta gama. Os minifigs, como na maioria dos sets Star Wars, ajudam a fazer valer mais o set. O veículo em si, apesar de não ser proeminente nos filmes, aparece em diversos videojogos e outros meios do universo SW, e é uma óptima adicção a exércitos CIS, ao mesmo tempo que os clones voadores também são uma óptima adicção aos exércitos republicanos.

Another excelent set. Like in most SW sets, the minifigs make up for the value. As for the vehicle itself, even though it's not featured proeminently in the movies, it appears in several videogames and other means of the SW universe, and it's a great add for CIS armies; at the same time the jet pack clones make a great add to republican armies.

Maior número e variedade do que esperava. Bastantes tiles dark blue e dark bley, bem como slopes.

Bigger quantity and quality than I was waiting for. Quite a lot of dark blue and dark bley tiles and slopes.

A construção - The build

Fácil, em meia hora ficou pronto. Não é nada aborrecida ao contrário do que possa aparentar, e apesar de não apresentar nenhuma técnica avançada, o mecanismo de soltar as bombas é interessante.

Easy, done in half an hour. Not boring, contrary to how it might look. Even though it does not use any exquisite technique, the bombing mechanism is interesting.

O desenho - design

Esta nave apareceu num único episódio das séries, de maneiras que achei estranho a TLC ter lançado este set. No entanto, o design e as funções estão de acordo com o original.

Since it only appeared in one episode of the CW series, I thought it was a bold move from TLC to release this set. Nonetheless, the design and functions are pretty good.

Jogabilidade - Playability

*SWOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH!*

*Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!*

Como bombardeiro, além de bastante swoosh permite rebentar com os seus alvos. Assim que o montei andei a saltitar pelo quarto a bombardear os AT-TEs :D

Os 3 minifigs, até há pouco tempo exclusivos, não têm grande ligação com o set, mas para quem se inicia com este set, servem perfeitamente bem como alvos.

As a bomber, it allows you to swoosh and to blow things up. As soon as I built it, I was jumping around the room bombarding the AT-TEs eheh.

The 3 minifigs were exclusive until the 2010 sets; but I don't think they fit well with the set. For those who start with this set, they make excelent targets to bomb them though.

Outros - Misc

Demasiados autocolantes... e pessoalmente acho que os minifigs eram escusados neste set. Já tenho mais um encomendado pelo BL, mas sem minifigs e a um preço mais simpático. De resto... um must para quem quer um exército CIS bem composto.

Way too many stickers... and like I said before, I don't think the minifigs fit with this set. I already ordered one more of these from BL but with no minifigs. I think it's a great ship for a CIS army builder.

Conclusão - Conclusion

Como indiquei, a principal falha são os autocolantes. Não acho o preço desenquadrado para a gama em que se inclui, mas isto é um pouco factor psicológico. De resto, adoro o set e sobretudo a maneira de bombardear ^^

Like I said, this set fails with the stickers. I don't think it's overpriced, but that's kind of psychological factor. Aside from it, I really like this set and most of all the bombing mechanism.

Minifigs army!

Aqui fica o meu exército de minifigs, a propósito do tópico lançado no fórum pelo F.D.L. Além de SW, juntei os meus medievais, piratas, indios, adventurers e mais uns random minifigs, consoante consegui juntar as peças para ficarem completos.

Os exércitos Star Wars. Por facções:

República - 25 clones, dos quais 2 jet troopers, 2 shock troopers, 3 artilheiros, 3 comandantes e 6 Jedi.

CIS - 8 Super Battle Droids, dos quais 3 são artilheiros; 32 Battle Droids; 2 comandantes; 1 piloto; IG-88; Viceroy Nute Gunray e Asaj Ventress.

Império - 24 stormtroopers, dos quais 5 snowtroopers, 4 scouts, 2 pilotos, 2 Shadow Troopers, 10 stormies, 2 sandtroopers e 1 condutor de AT-AT; Mais 2 oficiais (um dos quais a minha pseudo-sigfig); Lord Vader a comandar e ainda um Vader chrome (tenho mais 3 guardados MISB, junto com dois Silver Stormies).

Rebeldes - 4 Scouts; 2 guerrilheiros de Endor; 2 unidades R2; 5 snowtroopers, 4 pilotos, Han Solo, Leia versão Endor e versão Hoth; Chewbacca e Luke Skywalker versão Endor.

Here is my minifig army. It includes not only Star Wars, but also medieval, pirates, islanders, adventurers and some random minifigs.

The Star Wars armies:

Republic - 25 clones, including 2 jet troopers, 2 shock troopers, 3 gunners, 3 comanders and 6 Jedi.

CIS - 8 Super Battle Droids; 32 Battle Droids; 2 commander droids ; 1 pilot; IG-88; Viceroy Nute Gunray and Asaj Ventress.

A maior desilusão de sempre: a minha prima de 4 anos recebeu um caixote de 700 peças de LEGO pelo Natal, ao qual não vai ligar nenhum e vai acabar por perder as peças todas num ápice, e eu recebi um perfume nojento (para quem não sabe, não aguento perfumes).

Além disso a minha última encomenda no BL foi-me barrada pela Alfândega. Que raio de maneira de terminar 2009 :(

Biggest disappointment ever: my 4 years old cousin got a 700 piece LEGO box for Christmas, which she will not play with and loose the pieces soon enough, and I just got a disgusting perfume (to those of you who don't know, I can't stand perfumes...).

Plus, my last BL order got me in trouble with Border Control. What a sad way to end 2009 :(

The LEGO life

Pegando neste interessante link, decidi escrever sobre a minha relação com LEGO.

LEGO é sentir-me culpado por gastar centenas de euros, mas sentir-me feliz rodeado de tanto ABS. LEGO é passar noites inteiras a construir e no dia seguinte ir de directa para o trabalho, e ficar a pensar no que construi durante a noite. LEGO é ficar extremamente ansioso quando não consegui terminar a construção durante a noite e ter que aguardar uma data de horas até regressar a casa e continuar. LEGO é sentir-me observado pelas centenas de minifigs que me invadem as estantes e pensar no que elas poderiam pensar.

Mais há mais. LEGO é enfiar um AT-AT, uma Lambda-class shuttle, dois TIE Advanced, tudo numa mochila de viagem, e atravessar Lisboa de transportes públicos e debaixo de chuva para chegar ao meeting e ter que reconstruir tudo o que se desfez pelo caminho. LEGO é rir com setdrafts numa loja de geeks. LEGO é ser reconhecido pela obcessão por plates e slopes brancas.

LEGO também é deixar a namorada a falar sozinha no MSN enquanto se arrumam as peças. LEGO é tropeçar num caixote de peças arrumadas e entornar tudo, bonús se ao entornar se misturarem com as outras.

LEGO é olhar para o AT-AT e lembrar-me do rainbow MOC que fiz dele quando tinha 11 anos, numa escala totalmente estúpida. LEGO é lembrar-me da manhã em que fiz 7 anos e tinha um 6090 à porta do meu quarto. É lembrar-me do 6268 que o meu primo montou porque ainda não tinha idade para perceber as instruções, e que depois foi perdido durante as obras em minha casa. LEGO é recordar os swooshs que fazia às naves Star Wars que tinha, ao ponto de as atirar ao ar ou uma contra as outras e ferir as mãos.

LEGO é deixar de ir a concertos, bem como a jantares e saídas à noite. LEGO é ter a minha mãe a perguntar "Que set queres?" pelos anos ou pelo Natal. LEGO é ser gozado por ter 20 anos e andar metido nisto. LEGO é este blog, a Comunidade 0937, o FBTB e todas as suas pessoas, MOCs e actividades.

Por último, acho que se pode dizer que LEGO > vida :D

Based on this interesting link, I decided to write about my relationship with LEGO.

LEGO is feeling guilty for spending hundreds of euros, but feeling happy around so many ABS. LEGO is spending whole nights building up and going to work the morning after with no sleep, and keep thinking of what I've built. LEGO is getting really anxious when I couldn't finish the build overnight and having to wait for hours before being able to get back home and continue. LEGO is feeling observed by the hundreds of minifigs who invaded my shelfs and thinking of what they could be thinking.

But there's more. LEGO is grabbing an AT-AT, a Lambda-class shuttle, two TIE Advanced, getting everything into a travelbag and cross Lisboa in public transports and under heavy rain to get to the meeting, then rebuild everything that got dismantled in the way. LEGO is laughing with the setdrafts in a geek store. LEGO is being known around for the obsession with white plates and slopes.

LEGO is also leaving my girlfriend texting alone on MSN while sorting pieces. LEGO is stomping on a box with sorted pieces and scramble everything; bonus if they get mixed with unsorted pieces.

LEGO is looking at the AT-AT and remember the rainbow MOC I made when I was 11, in a totaly stupid scale. LEGO is recalling the morning when I turned 7 and I had a 6090 in front of my bedroom. It's remembering the 6268 that my cousin built for me because I wasn't aged enough to understand how to build it, and then was lost during the construction works in my home. LEGO is remembering the swooshes I did with the old Star Wars ships I had, to the point of lauching them in the air or against each other in my hand, which resulted in some scratches.

LEGO is stop attending gigs, as well as party dinners and nights out. LEGO is having my mother asking me "Which set do you want?" for my b-day or x-mas. LEGO is being mocked by being 20 and still loving this. LEGO is this blog, the 0937 Community, FBTB and all their persons, MOCs and activities.

Lastly, I guess I can say LEGO > life :D

MOC: The anti-Santa

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far way...

O sr. Nicolau, além de distribuir prendinhas aos meninos bons no planeta Terra, já andava por outras galáxias nesse mesmo serviço. Mas e os meninos que se portavam mal? Aqueles putos chatos, que não comiam a sopa, que só faziam patifarias, que só faziam birras atrás de birras? No planeta Terra, segundo a tradição italiana, em vez de receberem prendinhas, recebem pedras de carvão, entregues por uma bruxa. Como essa bruxa apenas existe no nosso planeta, numa galáxia longínqua o sr. Nicolau teve que arranjar um substituto... e quem melhor que o sr. Darth Vader para tal serviço?! Assim, num contrato secreto entre o sr. Vader e o sr. Nicolau, ficou decidido que os meninos maus da galáxia iriam ser visitados pelo Lord das Trevas e em vez de prendas, receberiam maldições do lado negro da Força.

Nesse contrato constava que o serviço prestado pelo sr. Vader teria de ser coerente com o do sr. Nicolau. Deste modo, as "prendas" teriam de ser transportadas por um trenó, e tinha que ter patente a insígnia do Pai Natal: o famoso barrete branco e vermelho. E o sr. Vader assim fez, lá arranjou um barrete gigante para decorar o seu TIE Advanced, que também modificou para poder deslizar como um trenó.

No entanto, um percalço de última hora obrigou a mudanças extra... Como alguém destruiu a Death Star (ai estes adolescentes rebeldes que não respeitam o pai!), o sr. Darth Vader tinha mais que fazer do que andar a assustar criancinhas pela galáxia, de modos que programou a sua nave para piloto-automático. Como a destruição da Death Star tinha causado muito prejuízo na sua conta bancária e o combustível está caro, teve que arranjar uma solução mais barata para desempenhar a sua tarefa... Lembrou-se então de passar pelo planeta Hoth e, usando a Força, domesticar dois Taun-tauns para puxarem o trenó, tal como as renas puxam o trenó do sr. Nicolau.

Com todos os percalços solucionados, lá conseguiu cumprir o contrato que tinha feito com o sr. Nicolau. Aqui temos uma recordação fotográfica do TIE Advanced/trenó a ser rebocado pelos desgraçados dos Taun-tauns, que se viram com um grande peso às costas ao terem que arrastar aquele peso pela neve de Hoth, prestes a arrancar para uma longa viagem por uma longa galáxia...

E como nada escapa ao espírito natalício, o planeta de Hoth encontrava-se decorado com azevinho. Será que os Taun-tauns deram um beijinho, como manda a tradição?

Mr. Santa, aside from giving presents to the good kids of planet Earth, used to travel across the galaxy doing his job. But what about the bad kids? Those annoying kids who did not eat their soup, act bad and cry all the time? According to the italian tradition of planet Earth, a witch would give them charcoal instead of nice gifts. Since that witch only exists on planet Earth, mr. Santa had to get a substitute... and who better than mr. Darth Vader to do so?! Then, in a secret agreement between Vader and Santa, it was decided that the bad kids of the galaxy would be visited by the Dark Lord and instead of presents, they would be cursed by the Dark Side of the Force.

In that agreement reads that the service done by Vader would have to be coherent with that of mr. Santa. The presents must be transported in a sled, and Santa's insignia must be there: his famous white and red hat. And so Vader got a giant hat to decorate his TIE Advanced, which was also modified like a sled.

But a last minute problem appeared... Since someone destroyed the Death Star (those rebel teenagers who don't respect their father!), mr. Vader was busy and unable to travel across the galaxy scarying little children, so he programed his spaceship to auto-pilot. As the destruction of the Death Star caused a lot of prejudice in his bank account and fuel prices are through the roof, he had to get a cheaper way to do his job... He then went to Hoth, and using the Force, he tamed two Tauntauns to pull the sled, just like the reindeers pull Santa's sled.

With all the problems solved, he managed to keep the agreement with Santa. Here we have some pictures of the TIE Advanced/sled being dragged through the Hoth snow by the poor Tauntauns, about to travel through the whole galaxy...

And since nothing escapes the Christmas spirit, the planet Hoth was decorated with mistletoe. Did the Tauntauns kissed, like tradition tells you? ;)

Este MOC foi a minha participação para o Concurso de Natal 0937, cuja limitação era não poder usar minifigs. Dada a quantidade de peças brancas que disponho, decidi-me por algo deste género.

This MOC was my entry for the 0937 Xmas Contest, in which was forbidden to use minifigs. Since I have a bunch of white pieces around, I decided to try something like this.

Hoth WIP - New anti-vehicle turrets

Adicionei dois novos turrets anti-veículo; mais semelhantes aos do filme do que os publicados pela LEGO. A área das trincheiras foi novamente ampliada em mais uma baseplate 32x16. Brevemente irei começar a estrutura da Echo Base.

Added two new anti-vehicle turrets; more similar to the ones on the movie than the ones published by LEGO. The trench area was enlarged by one 32x16 baseplate once again and I'll start the Echo Base structure soon enough.

Review: 8038 - Battle of Endor

Eis um set que ao início não esperava adquirir, mas que aos poucos me foi dando vontade de o ter e agora brinco com ele todos os dias :)

Here's a set I haven't thought of acquiring, but then it was capturing my attention and now I play with this baby every single day :)

As peças - Parts

Uma grande variedade de peças. Tiles com fartura (só das 1x4 dark blueish gray são 48), muitas plates, muitas slopes e ainda algumas peças Technic.

A great variety of parts. Tons of tiles (48 1x4 dark blueish grey...), lots of plates, slopes and even some Technic.

A construção - The build

O set é construido em várias fases. Os polybags vêm numerados, com dois sacos por cada fase de construção. Começamos pelas 12 minifigs, mais o planador e a catapulta dos Ewoks, duas speeder bikes; o AT-ST e por fim, o bunker. É um set de construção simples mas com tanta coisa a fazer, torna-se demorado, apesar de não me lembrar quantas horas levei a terminá-lo.
O AT-ST é possivelmente a parte mais complexa da construção, tendo em conta que mete algum Technic e que mesmo construido como deve ser, o mecanismo de andamento não funciona lá muito bem.
O mecanismo de "explosão" do bunker é mais simples do que aparenta e é facilmente montado.

The set is built in several steps. The polybags are numbered, two bags for each construction phase. We start by the 12 minifigs, the glider and the Ewok catapult and two speeder bikes; the AT-ST and then the bunker. It's construction is plain simple, but with so much to build, it took me quite some time to finish it.
The AT-ST is prolly the most complex part of the build; since it includes some Technic and the walking mechanism isn't that good.
The "explosion" mechanism is simpler than it looks and easily built.

O desenho - Design

Todo o set está excelente! A catapulta é igualzinha à do filme, bem como o bunker e todos os seus detalhes.
O AT-ST parece um pouco "afunilado" face ao original, mas face a anteriores modelos parece-me bem.
As speeder bikes na sua nova versão estão muito melhores; no entanto gosto mais do design da que vem no set 7676. Penso que a plate 2x3 por detrás do assento das novas speeder bikes serve para permitir que duas minifigs viagem na mota, como aparece na cena do filme, ao invés de todos os anteriores modelos que apenas permitiam uma minifig por speeder.
A parte interna do bunker já não é tão realista face ao filme, mas permite muita brincadeira e dá vontade de acrescentar mais um bocado à base :-)|| peca um pouco por ser totalmente aberto atrás, mas escapa.

Everything in this set is excellent! The catapult looks just like the one in the movie, as well as the bunker and it's details.
The AT-ST is a bit funnel-looking, but looks nice face to previous models.
The new speeder bikes look much better; although I prefer the one that comes in the 7676 set. I think that 2x3 plate behind the seat is there to allow two minifigs to ride the bike like in the movie, instead of only one minifig like in previous models.
The inner part of the bunker does not look that realistic, but it allows plenty of fun inside and makes you want to add something more to the base. It's a shame it's back is fully open, but I'll let it pass.

Jogabilidade - Playability

Com 12 minifigs, dois speeders, um planador, uma catapulta, um AT-ST e um bunker que explode, brincadeira não falta neste set!
O planador dispõe de um simples sistema de bombardeamento, bastando colocá-lo num determinado ângulo para deixar cair pedras sobre os soldados do Império, tal e qual como no filme.
A catapulta é bastante forte, lançando round bricks 2x2 a uma distância superior a 1.50/2m; até agora não me lembro de ter visto nenhuma catapulta LEGO tão poderosa :D
O AT-ST, como mencionei anteriormente, padece de uma certa deficiência no mecanismo das pernas. Supostamente rodando o mecanismo alternadamente para um lado e para outro, as pernas mexem e o bicho caminha. No entanto, as pernas só mexem se não estiverem em cima de nenhuma superfície. Ainda assim, o facto de ter uma abertura superior serve perfeitamente para se recriar a cena em que um determinado Wookiee pega no condutor e o atira de lá pra fora ;D o AT-ST, que originalmente comportaria dois condutores, aqui apenas tem capacidade para transportar um minifig.
O bunker dispõe de portas que se abrem e de um sistema de molas que permite rebentar com ele, mandando as coberturas laterais a voar (e se houver minifigs por perto que não estejam bem fixas, elas vão atrás :D). A abertura das duas portas é individual, ao contrário do set 8036 onde basta rodar um dos lados para que ambas as portas abram sincronizadamente. O facto das alas laterais estarem unidas à parte central por hinges permite a abertura do bunker para se ter mais espaço para se mexer lá dentro. With 12 minifigs, two speeders, one glider, one AT-ST and an exploding bunker, we have lots of fun stuff to do here!
The glider has a simple bombardment mechanism, allowing it to drop stones over the bad guys, just like in the movie.
The catapult is just awesome, it can throw 2x2 round bricks longer than 2 meters! Plus, it looks perfect, just like the one in the movie! I can't recall any LEGO catapult this powerful.
Like I said before, the AT-ST movement is a big weird. It should walk by moving a wheel left and right, but it only does walk if not over any surface. Still, the fact that the top hatch opens and allows one angry wookiee to throw it's driver out of there makes up for it. It should transport two drivers like in the movie, but the LEGO version only carries one.
The bunker possesses an opening door and a spring mechanism that blows up the lateral walls (and strong enough to take some minifigs along with it). The doors must open individually, instead of synchronized like in the 8036 set. The lateral wings are hinged to the central piece, allowing it to open and close so that you have more room inside the bunker to play with it. Inside we have some computers, gun supports and a part of the shield generator.

12 minifigs num só set é muita fruta, ainda mais sendo 6 delas exclusivas :-)|| temos o Han Solo, a Princesa Leia, o Chewbacca, o R2-D2, dois soldados rebeldes com uniforme camuflado, três Ewoks, dois Scout Troopers e um oficial imperial. Os Ewoks são maravilhosamente detalhados, ao contrário dos anteriores. Existe um desfasamento entre os bons e os maus, sendo que podiam ter metido uns stormtroopers extra no set. Além disso, falta aqui o C-3PO ?

12 minigs in the same set is a lot; especially being 6 of them exclusives! We have Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, two rebel soldiers, three Ewoks, two Scout Troopers and an Imperial Officer. The Ewoks are marvelously detailed, unlike their predecessors. There is some unbalance between good guys and bad guys, since they could have gotten some extra stormtroopers in this set. Besides, where is C-3PO?

Aqui é que a porca torce o rabo... 110€ ainda é dinheiro. No entanto, com a quantidade de minifigs e sobretudo exclusivos; e tendo em conta que isto é um tema licenciado, até não fica mau de todo. Como consegui o meu um pouco mais barato, não me vou queixar :-)

110€ is a bit of money. Nonetheless, the minifigs makes up for it, and since this is a licensed theme and I managed to get it a bit cheaper, I shall not complain :)

Conclusão - Conclusion

Um excelente set, sobretudo para quem é fanático por Star Wars como eu :D se lhe juntarmos uns stormtroopers (e mesmo mais rebeldes) dos battle packs, fica ainda melhor. Próximo passo da LEGO deveria ser lançar a plataforma do shield generator :-)|| espero ver alguns displays baseados nesta cena épica do filme; e conto fazer umas pequenas modificações dentro de alguns tempos :)

An excellent set, especially for those die-hard Star Wars fans like me. If we had some stormtroopers (and even some more rebels) from the Battle Packs, it would get even better. LEGO' next step should be launching the shield generator platform eheh. I hope to see some Endor displays soon; and I shall add some modifications in some time.

Hoth WIP update

Mais uma actualização.. dupliquei a área das trincheiras e esgotei novamente as plates brancas. De momento mede 32x64 studs. Comecei ainda um estudo para a blast door da Echo Base, provisoriamente com 40 studs de largura.

Another update... I doubled the trench area and ran out of white plates again. It measures 32x64 studs at the moment. I also started studying a way to make the Echo Base blast door, which is 40 studs wide for now.

0937 Meeting

Hoje deu-se mais um encontro da Comunidade 0937, com diversos membros da região de Lisboa, na loja de jogos Homem Azul. Desde AT-ATs despedaçados, a gente do Technic que bloqueou com um cockpit de um TIE Advanced e a um set draft de chorar a rir, foi uma tarde muito bem passada, com direito a after party no escritório do Sr. Martins. Senhor este que levou a sua loja atrás e fez as delícias dos AFOLs participantes, como eu :)

Trouxe para casa uma boa quantidade de peças para continuar o display de Hoth, bem como um 8038 - Battle of Endor, da qual farei um review brevemente ;)

Today we had another 0937 meeting, with people from around Lisboa, on the gaming store Homem Azul (Blue Man, dunno why the hell it's called that). We had a dismantled AT-AT, a Technic guy who couldn't understand how to close a TIE Advanced' cockpit and a pretty humorous set draft. A really nice afternoon, with the after party at Mr. Martins office. Mr Martins who took his store along with him and made every AFOL happy, including me :)

Brought home some pieces for my Hoth display, plus an 8038 - Battle of Endor. Expect a review soon enough ;)

Recebi este set como prenda de aniversário e é o meu preferido, sem dúvida! Além de ser dos meus veículos preferidos da série, a versão Lego está excelente. Foi modificado para ficar controlado remotamente através de PowerFunctions. Fiz ainda um pequeno interior, para transportar os oficiais imperiais e claro, o senhor Darth Vader.

I got this set as a birthday gift from my mother and it sure is my favorite! Aside from being one of my favorite vehicles from the Star Wars series, the Lego version is just excellent. It was modded to be remote controlled with PowerFunctions. I also created a small interior platform to carry Imperial officers and of course, Mr. Darth Vader.

Bem vindos à minha Legocifina! Sou o Guilherme, também conhecido por Diaaabo, tenho 20 anos e sempre fui apaixonado por Lego. Descobri por mero acaso a Comunidade 0937 no Verão de 2009, da qual faço parte actualmente a fim de crescer dentro deste hobby. O meu tema de eleição é sem dúvida Star Wars. Sou um pouco coleccionista nesta temática, apesar de ir fazendo cada vez mais MOCs. Além de Star Wars, os meus temas preferidos enquanto miúdo e graúdo eram os Adventurers - Egypt, Castle e Pirates. Sintam-se à vontade para comentar os MOCs que aqui apresentar; sou apologista de que uma crítica ou opinião alheia só faz é bem!

Welcome to my LegoWorkshop. My name is Guilherme, a.k.a. Diaaabo, I'm 20 and I've always been passionate about Lego. I found out the 0937 LUG during Summer 2009, which I joined so that I may entwine inside this hobby. My favorite theme is with no doubts Star Wars.
